Since I was little I’ve had a fascination with light. I used to make my parents pull over on the side of the road just to watch the light change over the distant landscape. I find it amazing how a scene can change so drastically by the minute and leave you with a completely different feeling. It is still one of my favourite things to watch to date.

I have been often told that my images have a certain nostalgia to them. Perhaps it’s my eastern european upbringing that has something to do with that. A lot of my inspirations comes from cinema, and real life experiences.

I always seek to capture a wedding honestly and as purely as I can. I never ask anything of my couples that isn’t honest. I’m only interested in real laughter, tears moments and expressions. In order to achieve this I do my best to create a sincere space between us where this can happen. When my couples look back at their images years later I want them to see a genuine depiction of themselves. I simply want to create photographs that matter.

I have just recently moved from Toronto to Vancouver. My partner and I decided to make the move to the west coast to be closer to the mountains and the outdoors and just for a change of scenery.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my work. And if you are up for an adventure or just a coffee then I would love to talk with you more.
